Josephine Straw Basket

The Joséphine basket is designed to be worn both in town and by the sea. The basket has been woven using a traditional technique by a women's cooperative in Morocco from natural fibres that are dried palm leaves. This means that the palm tree is not cut and only its leaves are used.

Joséphine is cut from leather sourced from surplus stocks of major leather goods manufacturers, because we feel strongly about fighting waste. 

As each piece is handmade, the baskets will be slightly different from one another; their dimensions may vary by a few centimetres.
