Josephine Strass Basket

The Joséphine strass basket is a chic and elegant mini handbag.

The basket has been woven using a traditional technique by a women's cooperative in Morocco from natural fibres that are dried palm leaves. This means that the palm tree is not cut and only its leaves are used.

Joséphine is cut from leather sourced from surplus stocks of major leather goods manufacturers, because we feel strongly about fighting waste. The rhinestones are made of glass and sewn by hand. Basket lined with cotton.

Choice of leather colours: bright blue smooth leather, yellow patent leather, fuchsia pink nubuck leather, red grained leather or apple green smooth leather.

As each piece is handmade, the baskets will be slightly different from one another; their dimensions may vary by a few centimetres.
