Designed to follow you everywhere, the Daphné basket combines style and practicality. In town or on the beach, it adapts to your every whim. Daphne was a nymph in Greek mythology, daughter of the river god Peneus, known for her extraordinary beauty. To escape Apollo's advances, she was transformed into a laurel tree, which then became sacred to the god.
Its clever format easily accommodates your everyday essentials, and its clip is perfect for personalizing it with your lucky charms and gris-gris.

The leather we use comes from dormant stocks of leading leather goods manufacturers. It's cut and applied in our Paris workshop, for a meticulous finish and an anti-waste commitment that's close to our hearts.
Our baskets are entirely hand-woven in Morocco, in a women's cooperative, using traditional know-how. They are made from dried palm leaves, harvested without cutting the tree - a 100% natural, beautiful and sustainable material. Each basket is unique: slight variations in size and weave possible, a reflection of artisanal workmanship.
