Each leather pocket is hand-stitched and individually painted by an artist who collaborates with Maud Fourier Paris. Slight variations in the painted details are part of the artisanal process and make every basket unique.

Handwoven palm leaves and genuine leather

The basket is handcrafted from palm leaves woven in Morocco by a women's cooperative. Long genuine leather handles are hand-stitched onto the basket and allow it to be carried comfortably by hand or over the shoulder. Its versatile medium size makes it ideal as a city straw basket, summer bag or chic holiday basket.

A removable zipped cotton pouch

Inside, a removable zipped pouch in ecru cotton keeps your phone, wallet, sunglasses, keys and other everyday essentials safely stored. It can easily be removed whenever you prefer a more open basket.
