LOUISE straw Basket - Elephant

We've designed the Louise basket to be worn both in town and by the sea.

It's up to you to choose whether you want it plain or with one of our matching leather gris-gris: elephant, palm tree, heart, cat or dog!

Handles for carrying it by hand or on the shoulder make this a very practical handbag. They are made from grained calf leather sourced from surplus stocks of leading leather goods manufacturers, and are cut and fitted in our Paris workshop. This enables us both to combat waste and to offer you quality finishes.

Our baskets are all woven using a traditional technique by a women's cooperative in Morocco from natural fibers that are dried palm leaves. This means that the palm tree is not cut, and only its leaves are used.

As each piece is hand-crafted, the baskets will be slightly different from one another; their dimensions may vary by a few centimeters.
