Josephine Straw Basket

The Joséphine basket is designed to be worn both in town and by the sea. The basket has been woven using a traditional technique by a women's cooperative in Morocco from natural fibres that are dried palm leaves. This means that the palm tree is not cut and only its leaves are used.

Joséphine is cut from leather sourced from the surplus stocks of major leather goods manufacturers, because the fight against waste is important to us. 

It's up to you to choose the colour:

In smooth leather: bright blue, bright green, camel, gold or neon pink.

In grained leather: white, fuchsia, red or navy.

In patent leather: yellow.

It's perfect for everyday use because it can hold a computer or tablet, as well as files if you're taking it to work. 

As each piece is handmade, the baskets will be slightly different from each other; their dimensions may vary by a few centimetres.
