Louisette small straw basket with pale pink leather

Louisette is Maud Fourier Paris’ small, delicate summer basket. More compact than the Louise model, this small straw basket with pale pink leather is designed for hand carry only, with a light, feminine and refined silhouette.

The basket is made from handwoven palm leaves in Morocco by women’s cooperatives we work with ethically. Each piece is then finished with pale pink leather handles, a front leather tab and carefully crafted details in our Paris workshop.

Its signature detail is a flower leather bag charm, made from a luminous combination of pale pink leather, metallic silver leather and yellow leather. This playful yet refined flower brings a fresh, joyful touch while keeping the natural elegance of the woven basket.

With its compact height of approximately 20 cm, Louisette is perfect for carrying your essentials: phone, keys, sunglasses, small wallet or lipstick. It pairs beautifully with a summer dress, white denim, a vacation look, a relaxed ceremony outfit or a chic weekend silhouette.

Each basket is handmade and may show slight variations in weaving, shape or finishing. These subtle differences are part of its character and make every Louisette basket unique.
